One of my favorite things as a kid was getting the Fingerhut catalogue in the mail. I would flip through it, get to the toy section, and circle everything I wanted. I would then hand the catalogue to my mom, informing her of picks. I rarely got what I was asking for, but man did I enjoy looking at all the toys. I was feeling a bit nostalgic, so today I’m sharing my current beauty wishlist.

Digital wishlists may not hit the same as the old school catalogues, but there is something to be said for compiling a list of things I want in one place. These are items I’ve had my eye on, some new and some new to me.

Danessa Myricks Skin Blurring Balm– I’ve been curious about this balm for a while now. Unless you’re living under a rock, you saw Tracey Chapman tearing up the Grammy’s stage a couple of weeks ago. She looked amazing, and I’m sure it’s mostly genetics and minding her business, she was wearing this balm. If it’s good enough for Tracey it’s good enough for me.

Paula’s Choice 6% Mandelic Acid Exfoliant– I’m a fan of the original formula, and I was excited to see she came out with this version. I’ve read that mandelic acid is more effective on dark skin because it isn’t as harsh. Can’t want to get my hands on this.

Naturium UV Broad Spectrum Sunscreen – As much as it pains me, I have to break up with my beloved Unseen Sunscreen. This one was recommended by a friend and fellow skincare guru. It will be in my rotation of new sunscreens to try out.

Rouge Dior Forever Lipstick Shade 999– One of my favorite bloggers Emily swears by this lipstick. I had been curious about what color she wore, and she finally divulged the exact shade. Red lipstick is my go to shade, and I am always on the hunt for a new one.

Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in 90’s Pink– The more I use this brand, the more I love it. She just released a new range of lipsticks, and this one caught my eye the most. It’s a shade of mauve pink that compliments my skin well. I am always looking to expand the range of nudes that work for me, so looking forward to this one.
