Raspberry Sorbet Prosecco Float

There are 2 types of people in the world. Dessert people, and non-dessert people. I am a dessert person. Yes, I have room for dessert. Yes, I want to see the dessert menu. Yes, I will share ( if you ask nicely). I am a self-proclaimed chocoholic. However, I have come to appreciate a well crafted non chocolate dessert. This Raspberry Sorbet Prosecco Float is part dessert, part cocktail, all delicious. I combine my favorite sorbet, ripe strawberries, and drown it in Prosecco for a yummy float.

Ingredients

This is a recipe for everyone who does not bake, likes dessert, and enjoys a good cocktail. You’ll need a few ingredients.

Fruit– I used strawberries. Use whatever you fancy that’s in season. I think raspberries or mango would work well here.

Sorbet- Sorbet is our frozen dessert of choice. I love it because it’s not too heavy. It’s also dairy-free so it’s a good option for anymore with dietary preferences or restriction. Raspberry is my favorite flavor, so that’s what I went with.

Lemon- The acid from the lemon helps balance out the sweetness of the sorbet.

Prosecco- Any good dry Prosecco will work here. Spend as much or as little as you like.
