Love is in the air and you know what that means….weddings! I attended a wedding recently that was an all black affair. It was my first winter wedding, and I was a bit stumped at first on what to wear. Dress shopping is hard on a good day, dress shopping for cold weather when you’re plus size is a whole nother ballgame. I’ve talked about my issues with shopping while plus size before. I’ve done the work and rounded up 10 plus size winter wedding guest dresses for you.
I picked out affordable plus size wedding guest dresses as well as one jumpsuit. As a plus size person I know we all have areas of our body that we’re insecure about. Whether it be arms, belly, back etc. Keeping that in mind I have a variety of options to choose from. No matter your preference you can find something you’re comfortable in. I also kept price in mind. Attending weddings can be expensive; you shouldn’t have to break the bank on a dress. Everything here is under $200.
First things first, this red maxi sweater dress will keep you warm and go perfect with a pair of boots.
This strapless sequined dress is fun and festive and perfect to keep the party going.
Another short dress, this pink feather mini dress is fun and colorful.
A long sleeved option, this gold sequin wrap dress will dazzle while keeping your arms covered!
A short sleeve option, this navy midi dress is a must if you love jewel tones.
Another short option this red and black bubble dress is adorable.
For a more formal wedding, this floor length halter gown will dazzle at any black tie affair.
If you’re more adventurous, this slip dress is the perfect mix of sexy and sophisticated.
If you prefer to wear pants, this purple jumpsuit will catch eyes and turn heads for all the right reasons.
Finally, the dress I wore to the wedding I attended, this ballon knot pleated ruffle dress will keep you warm and looking good!
There you have it, my plus size winter wedding guest dresses. Whether you want to show off your legs or hide your tummy, I’ve got something for you. Every plus size dress I shared goes up to at least a 24W and is under $200. You’ll be styling and profiling for the next wedding you attend!
