It’s Barbie’s world, I’m just living in it! The Barbie movie premiered last weekend, and I have only heard good things. I have really enjoyed everything Barbie related coming out the last few months. It’s pretty, it’s fun, it reminds me of my childhood. I have also developed a love of pink in the last year or so that I didn’t have growing up. I figured what better time than to show how to wear Barbie Pink.

Go Bold

First things first, if you are going to wear pink, go bold. I love a bright Barbie pink or deep coral pink.

Mix and Match

Similar to my post about wearing monochrome colors, feel free to mix and match various shades of pink. This is a good way to ease into a bold look if you’re not entirely comfortable with bright colors.

Accessorize

I love a good headband, I’m wearing a gold one here. Accessories can make your outfit, so add a headband, earrings. bangles etc to complete your look. I do think all pink accessories are a bit much, so I recommend another bold color or a neutral accessory to complement your outfit.

Pair with Neutrals

If you aren’t feeling pink on pink, then mix it up. Pair pink with a neutral color. We are smack dab in the middle of summer so white is perfect. I am wearing white shorts with a pink top. White id the perfect summer neutral because it’s easy to look crisp and polished.
