Hey Y’all! It’s been a wild few months, but you know what they say absence makes the heart grow fonder. We’ve made it to December, and I would be remiss if I didn’t share holiday gift guides. As we enter into strict lockdown again, most of us are spending most if not all of our time at home. So I present the Cozy at Home Gift Guide.

All things to make the most of your time at home. I know how crucial our support is to small businesses right now, so every item in this gift guide is from a small business. All black owned, woman owned, and/or LGBTQ owned.

  1. Cabernet & Equal Pay Sweatshirt – As the temperature drops I’m layering up to stay warm. What better way to do that then with a sweatshirt that gives the middle finger to the patriarchy.

2. Margaux Cashmere Slippers- I’ve been on the hunt for cute house shoes and these are just ultimate luxury. They come in 3 colors, and go up to size 14.

3. Extra Spicy Chai – I started drinking hot tea after studying abroad in college. You can never go wrong with a good Chai, and this is a louisville based company started by a college friend of mine.

4. Josephine Candle – This warm scent is perfect for winter, and all of the candles from Harlem Candle Company are named after historical black figures.

5. Dulce De Leche Caramels – I love a good rich caramel, and these are perfect treat to unwind at the end of a long day of zoom calls and virtual learning.

6. The Wedding Date – I love a good book, and this is a cute light read. Alexa and Drew get stuck in an hotel elevator during a power outage. Drew convinces her to pretend to be his girlfriend and attend his exes wedding with him. This is the first in a series of books.

7. Kim & Uno Silk Kimono – I stumbled across this brand thru a lingerie blogger I follow, and I have been obsessed ever since. This is number one on my wishlist! The brand is size inclusive, and they have something for everyone.

8. Butter me up Goods Body Butter – Being ashy is not cute, and winter weather can be hard on your skin. Pick up a few of these and stay soft and smelling good all winter long.
